We went out as a group on a beautiful day for a walk and picnic. Everyone enjoyed the day and there was lots of laughter for all. The clients chose this activity at our morning get together as the weather was so nice.
There was lots to see and do. The bird life and fish in the ponds gave us lots to talk about and there were some beautiful spots to sit for our lunch.
All the clients bought ice creams (staff too!!!).

Many of our clients enjoy a good pub lunch. We often walk to various venues such as The Miners Peg in Skelmersdale. The clients love to go there as they always bump in to people they know. It is also nice to do in smaller groups such as the photo shown here. This enables the clients to really build their individual friendships. (The girls usually like to walk over to the shops afterwards).

Our clients love The Monday and Thursday night disco in Kirkby. The hosts are like old friends to all our clients and the interaction between Hosts, Clients on Staff on and off the dance floor always make for a good night!!
Karaoke is another favourite we try to facilitate on a regular basis.

Archery, cycling, football, fishing and other ball games are just some of the activities we enjoy doing. Being outdoors is always the best and we try to do this as often as we can. The clients discuss what they would like to do at our morning meetings.

We have lots of Liverpool and Everton supporters amongst our clients and stadia tours are a must!!
We enjoy taking the clients to The Liverpool Music Exhibition and try to do this at least annually, especially for our music mad clients!!! The Beetles and Cilla always make an impression. There is also quite a bit of interactive equipment too.
Our museums can also be an exciting day out. This is normally a full day activity with a train journey, museum visit, lunch at a chosen venue then a train journey home.

Our group likes to go bowling on a weekly basis and is a great activity when the weather is bad. They normally will walk up into Wigan after bowling to enjoy their lunch. Lots of favourite little cafe's and restaurants. Normally a full day of fun.

Our group love to be out with each other and our canal walks are always enjoyed. The clients spend the time walking and talking and the humour is always enjoyed. Their interaction with each other is a very positive experience and the staff are there to engage with the clients whilst managing risk.
